Lazar Markovic

Apart from the fact that Liverpool will benefit from Jurgen Klopp’s arrival at Anfield, there is one superstar in particular who seems to be enjoying the new manager’s arrival. It seems that Lazar Markovic feels that he could be one of the main beneficiaries of the German boss taking over the Reds, well that is what he feels at least.

For some reason, the former Kop boss Brendan Rodgers did not play the Serbian international in his favoured position and whilst the 21 year old winger played a team-game, he never got the chance to display the best football that he possibly could.

Currently with Turkish giants Fenerbahce on a season long loan, the attacker has recently spoke to Portuguese newspaper A Bola about the entire situation and said, “I do not look at the past… And Liverpool have a new coach.”

Further, talking about his spell with the Turkish giants, he stated, “At Fenerbahce I don’t feel pressured. The fans are very good… I couldn’t be more pleased. We have good team.”

Comparing his current coach Vitor Pereira to his former manager at Benfica, Jorge Jesus, who is now at Sporting Lisbon, he added, “I like the way he works. It’s more or less like that of Jesus.”
