Southampton has become a happy hunting ground for Liverpool in the recent years. Now with news and reports about possible departure of Daniel Sturridge Liverpool are looking to bolster their attack and has been keen to bring in Shane Long of Southampton.

The Saints boss, Ronald Koeman has warned the Liverpool management openly in the media that Long will not be allowed to leave. In an interview he has mentioned that none of the Southampton players will be leaving this month.

In the recent past Liverpool has purchased several players from Southampton. The Saints have established themselves as a club which brings in young players and develop them to suit the English Premier League. As a result several of the bigger English clubs has been shopping at Southampton in recent years. But this time Koeman sounds resolute and aggravated when asked about Shane Long’s transfer to Liverpool.

“We have brought one player in (Charlie Austin from QPR) and no player will go out,” said Koeman.

“You know my answer. Nobody will go out. Maybe I have to repeat it 80 times more, but if you like it, I will do it.”

We will wait and watch how the story turns out to be.
