Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is not happy with the current squad. Or it would appear so given that there are news on Sunday People that the German manager wants to bring Havard Nordtveit to Anfield. The defensive midfielder along with Joel Matip, who has been confirmed by Schalke that he will join the Reds at the end the current season to bolster the Reds’ defense.

“Liverpool Football Club can confirm they have reached an agreement to sign Cameroon defender Joel Matip,” said a statement on Liverpool’s official website. “The 24-year-old will join the Reds in the summer following the conclusion of his current deal with FC Schalke.”

Steven Caulker brought on loan in January will most likely return to QPR if that happens. Nordtveit has impressed the Liverpool scout and also is going to be a free transfer if he does not renew his contract in the coming days.

Liverpool player Mario Balotelli, who was on loan at AC Milan is expected to return as per The Sun. The reason? Same old Mario had a row with the head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

Balotelli found it extremely hard to break it into the first team at Anfield and after a disappointing season last year was sent out on loan to AC Milan but due to such behavior, the Milan giants are planning to terminate the contract.
