Alex Teixeira’s friend Josef de Souza has said in an interview that the player is still keen on a move to Liverpool in spite of the recent transfer to Jiangsu Suning in China. The Reds tried to bring the Brazilian to Anfiedl in the January but a deal could not be reached between the two parties – reports Liverpoolecho.
Mario Balotelli, currently on loan at AC Milan may be there longer than expected. The Italian could not impress at Anfield and moved to Milan on a loan deal earlier this year. However Silvio Berlusconi has said that the Rossonerris are interested to sign the player on a permanent deal this summer. Of course the underlying condition is that Balotelli, 25, must show maturity in the remaining season – reports Gazzetta dello Sport.
Elsewhere, Malaga’s Ignacio Camacho has a release clause of £8m but Liverpool are hopeful that they will be able to get the player for half that price. The Spanish clubs are in financial trouble and Liverpool are willing to capitalize on this opportunity by offering £4m – reports Daily Mirror.
