Liverpool have been linked with a lot of big names for a possible summer move with Mario Gotze being at the center of attraction. Jurgen Klopp is looking for a transformation in terms of quality within the side and his ambitions are to make Liverpool serious contenders for the title for next season. The Reds are also trying to get Granit Xhaka from Gladbach and Ter-Stegen from Barcelona. Klopp would be more than happy if he manages to get these three men on board for the next season. Here is a look at the potential dream team for the manager.

Formation

4-2-3-1

Goalkeeper: Andre Ter-Stegen

Simon Mignolet lacks the consistency and that presence in between the posts. Klopp would look forward to have the services of Ter-Stegen at the post and target more clean-sheets.

Defense: Clyne, Sakho, Matip, Gomez/Flanagan

Nathaniel Clyne has played well this season and should continue his role at the right back position. Joel Matip, the Schalke defender is set to join Liverpool this summer and is expected to take the center back position ahead of Lovren and Skrtel. Mamadou Sakho should continue and partner with Matip at the back. The left flank which has been a problem for Liverpool this season can be taken care by Gomez. Even Jon Flanagan is back to fitness and however, his stronger side is on the right, he can take up the left back position if needed.

Midfield: Can, Xhaka

Emre Can has been brilliant for Liverpool in the middle and has proved his abilities in the defensive midfield position. Liverpool are linked with Xhaka and if this move happens, we can expect the Swiss superstar to be at the center of midfield. Also, if Klopp manages to get Xhaka onboard, the future of Henderson at Anfield might become uncertain.

Attacking Midfield: Coutinho, Firmino, Gotze

Coutinho Is back

This trio looks deadly going forward. Firmino can take up the central role in the attacking midfield. Gotze and Coutinho can take up the flanks. Gotze is a natural winger and is strong on the left flank. Coutinho played at the left wing for a lot of games but if needed, he can take up the right flank. This trio could possibly be a potential match winner and can certainly torment defends with their pace and skills.

Striker: Sturridge

Daniel Sturridge should be the man up front for Liverpool and if he manages to maintain his fitness, then this side can certainly pose a challenge for the title next season.
