Scouting For Klopp: 3 Unknown Names Liverpool Should Try To Sign This Summer

Liverpool are one step closer from winning the Europa League and more importantly qualifying for the Champions League. After such a bad start to the season, changing of manager in the middle of the reason, no one would have imagined that the reds would reach in 2 cuo finals in Jurgen Klopp’s first eight months and that too with Rodgers’ squad. Jurgen Klopp has galvanized the fan base like never before and the atmosphere at Anfield has improved a lot under Klopp.

To challenge on all fronts, upgrade in the squad is much needed and many positions need strengthening. Some big signings can work out to be successful and are much needed with every transfer window. Along with some big buys, some future talent needs to be bought to develop under Klopp. Around the world, many new sensations appear at a young age but majority gets faded after a certain age.

Jurgen Klopp has in his time in Germany has nurtured and made some unknowns names into world class players. Along with the academy prospects, the reds should try to bring in some exciting youth to give the squad a fresh breath of air and can contribute to the first team squad. Many talents are available around the globe but let’s take a look at such three young unknown names that Liverpool should try to sign in the summer :
1. Ben Chilwell: (Leicester City)

The 19 year old left back has impressed one and all after his successful loan spell at Huddersfield. He has made just two appearances for the foxes in cup competitions and was voted as the motm in one match by the fans. Chilwell has great attacking abilities and can link up the wingers well and can cross well. He became a fan favorite at Huddersfield and is touted to be a England international in the future. Liverpool should secure his services and continue his development at Melwood. He is an exciting talent and can compete with Moreno for a starting spot.

2. Gabriel Barbosa: (Santos)

Dubbed as the next Neymar, Barbosa, nicknamed Gabigol is the next big thing coming from the famous Santos academy. Barbosa can play anywhere in the front line, and has been instrumental in Santos’ success. He has all that is needed to compete at the highest level and can become one of the world’s best. With the right training methods and especially under Klopp, Gabigol can become the player he intends to be. His attributes will mean that he will be a fan favourite right from the start.

3. Bernardo Silva:

The 20 year old midfielder is garnering attention from all over Europe. The Benfica academy product has played well since coming into the first team squad and his good form was rewarded with a move to Monaco. He reached the semis of the U19 world cup for Portugal and has represented them at U21 level also. Silva is a box to box player who can do damage too on the offensive and can break play at times. This talent can prove to be successful in the future and if Monaco are willing, the reds should take this opportunity to develop the Portuguese who was voted in the top 10 talents of the U19 world cup.
