Niklas Sule is being heavily linked with a move to Anfield in the summer transfer window. According to Daily Mail, Jurgen Klopp is ready to overhaul the club and that means letting a few players go. One of the names that Klopp is ready to cut off from the team sheet is Martin Skrtel and Sule is being seen as a replacement for him.
Liverpool has already signed Joel Matip from Schalke and Sule could be the second defender to sign with the Reds. He currently plays for Hoffenheim and also for Germany under-21 team.
Liverpool’s defense may have a completely different look come next season as several key defenders could be on their way out. Kolo Toure is out of contract while Skrtel is preparing to leave. Sakho too is a doubt after the player has failed a drug test. This leaves a big void of experience and manpower in the defense.
