Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move to sign Sadio Mane from Southampton this summer, however, reports from the Sun suggest that the Reds will have to pay a huge amount to the club so as to bring the player into the squad this summer.
Earlier reports from the Sun claimed that the Reds will be signing the player in a deal worth £30m. However, recent reports state that the Saints have rated the player at £40m ($57m) and are demanding the same from the Reds.
The player has been in excellent form this season and the same has not deterred Jurgen Klopp from looking out for him as he still stays by his interest and willingness to sign Mane into the squad despite the price tag.
Mane has 24 goals to his credit with 15 direct goals and 9 assists made in 43 appearances for the Saints last season.
