It is safe to say that Liverpool was one of  the inconsistent teams last season in the Premier League, but the arrival of Jurgen Klopp brought them right back on track. Yes, there were some poor results, but all in all, Liverpool were a completely new side in the league.

They gave away some wonderful performances and showed what they will be doing next season in the league. There is no doubt that the league will be getting tougher as some new names in the managerial position have been announced, and the gaffers will be rebuilding their sides by bringing some top quality names.

Talking about transfers, Jurgen Klopp is not wasting any time and has already completed 3 transfers, namely: Joel Matip, Marko Grujic and, Loris Karius till date. He knows where the side needs an upgrade and has started working on the prospect. He might face some difficulties in dealing with the transfers due to the absence of the Champions League or Europa League, but we are pretty sure, that he would bring some quality names into the squad.

But besides transfers, he will have to assess the current squad, because we all are aware of the fact that there are many players in the squad, whose best is yet to come, and we are pretty sure that Klopp would do everything to bring those talents up.

So, here are the 3 Liverpool players who could revive under Klopp next season:

  1. Adam Lallana-

After few wonderful seasons with Southampton, Adam Lallana was signed by Brendan Rodgers in 2014. The Englishman was expected to do wonders at Anfield, but failed to replicate the form he showed in the colors of Southampton. In the 2014-15 season, the attacker did score some handful of goals in the league and was later touted as the worst buy of the season.

With Jurgen Klopp’s arrival, it is expected that the Englishman could do something better for the side. Klopp’s arrival to Anfield bought the optimism in the side and from nowhere, he led them to 2 cup finals. There is no doubt that Lallana’s best for Liverpool is yet to come, and under Klopp, he could have that game changing impact in the upcoming season for sure.

  1. Marko Grujic-

The 20-year-old Serbian was bought by Jurgen Klopp back in January 2016, but was immediately loaned back to Red Star until the end of the season. The Serbian made 30 appearances for the side last season, scoring 6 goals and won the Serbian SuperLiga.

It is obvious that the 20-year-old Serbian would struggle to complement the high pressing style of the English Premier League, but working under Klopp might help his cause. We have seen many players, who failed badly in the Premier League just due to its aggressive nature, and therefore, we think that Grujic will find it hard to play in the League. But Jurgen Klopp is known to give the young guns their chance and he might become one of the best midfielders in the league under the German in no time.

  1. Alberto Moreno-

Yes, you read it right. The 23 year old Spanish full back has faced a lot of criticism last season due to back to back poor performances. But sometimes, a lecture on confidence and support might work with an individual.

Moreno needs the support of the fans, but besides that, some words of optimism from the manager might bring the Spanish star back on track. The Spaniard is surely a threat when he launches himself up on the track, but fails to track back while defending. Klopp knows how to make things right and we are sure that he would work it out for Moreno.
