Aston Villa player Jordan Amavi was the only player who brought some semblance of home to the Villains, while they fought the relegation last season.
Despite his injury while representing France Under-21 which deemed him out of action for the rest of the season, the player was the only one who brought a ray of lights at Aston Villa. The same did not go unnoticed by Liverpool, AC Milan and Lyon, who are now looking to bring the player into their club this summer. Further French club Bastia too has entered the race to sign the player and is set to give the Reds a strong competition for the player’s signature.
The Reds manager is currently locked in with negotiations to bring in Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell into the squad, however he is looking for alternatives if negotiations with the Foxes fail.
Amavi is currently valued at £10.8m by Aston Villa.
