Klopp

After many years of waiting, Liverpool football club can finally say that yes, they are ready to challenge for the title, the reason being, their manager, Jürgen Klopp. No one can deny that it was Klopp due to which the team came back on track. The manager took the team to two cup finals during his first 8 months and let me tell you, not every manager can do that.

There is no denying that the Merseyside club still needs improvement in several areas. The manager has so far bought five players, namely, Marko Grujic, who was bought in January, Joel Matip from Schalke, Loris Karius from Mainz, Sadio Mane from Southampton and Ragnar Klavan from Augsburg. The signing will surely bolster the squad in many areas, yet they need reinforcement in other space as well.

It is safe to say that the manager is looking to mould the squad according to his plans and for that, many exits are expected. Top names like Kolo Toure, Martin Skrtel and Jordan Ibe have already left the club, yet many believe that there is more to come.

As stated earlier, the manager will be looking to add more faces into the squad, so here we give you a dream Liverpool lineup, who could easily give the other Premier League teams a run for their money:

Dream-

It is safe to say that it is Liverpool, who has completed the most number of signings, yet need some world class players. They previously targeted Mario Gotze, but the former Jürgen Klopp employee has recently joined Borussia Dortmund yet again. Piotr Zieliński was constantly linked with the Anfield outfit, but nothing has been concluded yet.

Now, starting from the beginning, then Klopp already has done a great business in the goalkeeping area as he has bought Loris Karius to replace the error-prone Simon Mignolet and the German could easily become a long-term solution for the team.

Coming on to the right side, Liverpool have a great player on the position, i.e, Nathaniel Clyne and Jon Flanagan, but if the reports are to be believed, then Klopp is ready to let Flanagan go on loan to Burnley therefore, Klopp will have to find an alternative there. The centre back pairing is where Klopp will suffer a severe headache as he has 4 top class defenders, namely, Mamadou Sakho, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Ragna Klavan, so it can be called safe as well.

The left back area is where Klopp needs to work and sort the problem out. Alberto Moreno has failed badly to convince the Anfield spectators, hence, a player like Jonas Hector or Ricardo Rodriguez will do the trick. Given the record of Jonas Hector’s rumours of joining Liverpool, it can be said that he will be a dream signing for the Reds.

The holding midfield will be occupied by Emre Can, and he is the deserving candidate there. Now, the central midfield is the space, where the manager needs to work. Piotr Zieliński was a long term target for the reds. With Joe Allen leaving the Reds, it is now a necessity for the manager to buy a central midfielder, and according to the reports, the manager has set his eyes on Inter Milan’s midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. If the transfer gets concluded, the midfield pack will be finished.

The attacking trio is an obvious choice for the manager, i.e, Coutinho; Firmino; Mane, and this trio can easily become one of the fastest in the league.

Now, coming on to the striking area, then this is the space, Liverpool will be looking to find an upgrade as two of the names (Balotelli and Benteke) from the position are looking to leave. Then Liverpool will be left with Sturridge; Origi, and Ings, and to be perfectly honest, neither of them can fulfill the expectations of the fans, hence a player, who could score at least 20 goals in a season could do the trick and someone like Higuain is the dream man for the task.

Reality-

Liverpool fans might have to face a harsh reality in the next season as the aforementioned players might deny a move due to the lack of European football.

Well, that is might not hamper the team as it is expected, but still, it might cost something at some point.

The goalkeeping area and the centre-back area have been sorted out, while the in the left space is still looking stale. It appears like Liverpool are not the only club willing to sign Jonas Hector and the deal itself is looking unlikely. Besides that, Liverpool’s other left backs target Ben Chilwell’s speculation has been lost somewhere in the rumours, hence, Liverpool might have to go for Moreno itself.

The holding midfielder is Emre Can, while his partner will be a serious question for the manager. He did sign Marko Grujic, but can he really fit in the pace of the Premier League? That is the question. Then come the same attacking trio and after that, the striking area; Higuian deals look highly unlikely as Napoli have now stated that they won’t be selling the player in anything less than £78.5m, which is his release clause. Therefore, it seems like the team will have to go for Sturridge itself.
