Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva’s move out of the Anfield has been put to a halt by the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp. The Reds manager stopped the player from leaving Anfield this summer as the manager is concerned about his squad’s current injury problems.

Leiva has been linked with a move out of the Anfield this summer and Turkish outfit Galatasaray were the player’s destination, however, the German manager has pulled a plug on the deal keeping Leiva at the Anfield.

Liverpool have a stock of players in the midfield, with the arrival of Marko Gurjic and Georginio Wijnaldum in the squad in addition to Can, Milner, Henderson and Lallana. The Reds boss has a lot of choices for his midfield, however, the German manager is doubtful about his options during the match against Arsenal this weekend with Milner and Gurjic still doubtful.

Leiva was one of the key players for the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp last season making 40 appearances for the Merseysiders in all competitions.
