Stats have revealed that Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has made the most passes in the Premier League this season.

Jurgen Klopp, who switched his tactics from 4-2-3-1 to 4-3-3 this season, was criticized for the same initially, but that has worked out really well not just for the manager, but for the players as well. Sure, they struggled in the initial stages, but the momentum has now been picked up and the players are looking all confident now.

Stats how gone up and the goal scoring form has also reached the heights. Talking about an individual, Jordan Henderson has made an awesome 499 passes in the six games to date, with 449 of them finding their man. According to football statistics buffs WhoScored, Henderson has completed 90% of his passes this season. Drinkwater found his man 76% of the time, Cazorla has also been incredibly precise with 90.5% while Gueye crops up with an impressive 89.4%.

The English international is miles ahead of his competitors, as Leicester City star Danny Drinkwater is with 403 total and 314 successful, while Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla is with 399 overall and 361 of them accurate.

As mentioned earlier, they did start their campaign on a rough note as they were thrashed by Burnley, but they came back on track eventually. Henderson, most notably, has been a standout performer for the side. His most eye-catching moment to date was an unbelievable strike against Chelsea in their 2-1 victory over the Londoners – which was so good it left Marko Grujic in awe.

The former Sunderland man was often criticized for his poor form, but the arrival of Jurgen Klopp has really revived his career as a Liverpool man, and it is safe to say that he has now miles to go.
