The international break isn’t something that many club football fans look forward to but it does provide the teams a bit of a break as many of their top talents head off to represent their nations.

Liverpool have a number of players going away to play for their respective countries but this is also the time for Klopp to plan for the upcoming schedule and the German has taken a number of players to Tenerife in the Spanish islands.

The Premier League side have just nine games remaining in the season and their next task is facing Everton after the break.

While the Reds haven’t had Captain Jordan Henderson in their team in the last few games, he has travelled with the side to sunny Tenerife. He probably will not take part in a lot of training but he should be in contention to face the Toffees in a couple of weeks.

Another player who has missed out on a number of games is Dejan Lovren and the Croatian defender has also joined the side and should be fit to face Everton giving a much needed boost to the Reds.

That will be music to the ears of all Liverpool fans as the pairing of Lovren and Joel Matip can iron out the chinks and face a resurgent Everton side on April 1st.

The Reds have taken a number of youngsters to Tenerife but first teamers such as Lucas Leiva, Alberto Moreno, James Milner and Loris Karius have also travelled.

Milner should be part of the XI that faces Everton at Anfield but one player who seems set to miss out on the derby is Daniel Sturridge. The Englishman didn’t travel with the side due to an injury, something that he picked up during their last trip which was at La Manga.

The former Chelsea and Manchester City striker has not played for the team since the loss against Hull City in February and it doesn’t look good for him since the season is coming to a close.

The last time Liverpool went away on a sunny trip, they ended up losing to Leicester City in an insipid display. If they do the same, they will certainly be taken to the cleaners by Everton and that will be damaging to their top four prospects.
