Liverpool have been in good form in recent weeks and their victories over Arsenal and Everton stand out when compared to other wins. They managed to pull off a stunning comeback win over Stoke City and look well on course to finish in the top-4.
However, their brilliant run has been tarnished by the fact that star man and leading goal scorer Sadio Mane injured himself in the game against their fierce rivals, Everton.
Though initially, it looked like the player was okay, as he signed autographs after the game and looked in good spirits, later on the doctors suggested that the club’s top-scorer needed to undergo a surgery.

It eventually became clear that he needed surgery on the knee to repair a torn meniscus. The surgery means he will play no further part in this campaign, which isn’t the best news for Liverpool.
Liverpool’s record this season without Mane’s involvement looks really bad as they have managed only one win in 6 games in the Senegal star’s absence.
Sadio Mane was seen coming out from a hospital in London and it is now quite sure that the Reds will have to manage the rest of the season without Sadio Mane.
We wish you a speedy recovery Sadio!
