He Is Back! – Adam Lallana In Line For Liverpool Return Against Watford
Liverpool are set to receive a major boost in the race to finish in the Premier league top four, as it has emerged that Adam Lallana is in line to make a return to the first-team when the club take on Watford on Monday night.
The Reds will be looking to bounce back from the 2-1 loss against Crystal Palace at home. It was a hugely disappointing result, especially with Manchester United winning their game against Burnley to close the gap down to 3 points. With Liverpool having played 2 games more than United, the Reds stand to drop out of the top four if results go against them. However, the best we can hope is to win the remaining 5 matches of the season.
The presence of the team’s best players will certainly enable Liverpool to finish strongly. The club has certainly missed the presence of Lallana, who has been enjoying a productive campaign with the club after scoring 7 goals and creating 7 in 27 league appearances this season. He has been unable to feature in the last 4 games after suffering an injury while on international duty with England. In his absence, the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino have found it difficult to shine. The match against Watford is a must-win game for the team, but the newly promoted club are in a good run of form after winning 3 out of their last 3 league matches.

The return of the 28-year old also comes at a time when the club are missing the services of Sadio Mane. The summer signing has also been another crucial player for the club, but he has been ruled out for the rest of the campaign with a new injury.
