Firmino of Liverpool

Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino married his girlfriend Larissa Pereira in a big-money ceremony in Brazil. There were a number of stars present at the marriage which included fellow Brazilian’s Philippe Coutinho, Allan Souza and Lucas Leiva.

Firmino and his partner have a couple of daughters and have been together for four years, according to the Daily Mail. And the lavish ceremony took place in Maceio, the capital city of the northern state of Alagoa.

The former Hoffenheim man was certainly in high spirits during the ceremony and even took to social media sharing images and videos of him and his friends enjoying the wedding.

The 25-year-old forward was accompanied at the altar by his mother, Mariana Cicera and Pereira as the ceremony was conducted by a priest.

There were a ton of photos and videos that were shared on Instagram of the after-party and as expected from any Brazilian celebration, it was littered with music and a lot of dancing.

The performance of the night was from Brazilian musician Gabriel Diniz as he belted out a number of hits. It was a surprise that all three Liverpool Samba boys got on the act and joined the singer on stage.

What was a little weird was the crazy dance they put up for the crowd and then the revelries really began.

It really was a great end to the season for Firmino as he helped us head back into the Champions League and was often the most hard working player out on the pitch. The 25-year-old was used rather well by Jurgen Klopp as the main striker and ensured that Daniel Sturridge found it hard to return to the side, even after regaining his fitness.

Firmino scored 11 times for us in the Premier League and will look to increase his tally this season too. With Mohamed Salah all set to join the Reds, Liverpool’s attack would feature three of the most hard-working players in Salah, Firmino and Sadio Mane.

For now, we wish Firmino all the best as he starts a new chapter in his life and hopefully, a number of great chapters will be written in the Red of Liverpool.
