Did our new signing just Mohamed Salah just ask his former AS Roma teammate Radja Nainggolan to leave the club? Well, it seems so. Chelsea recently completed the signing of Antonio Rudiger on a five-year deal from AS Roma for a fee reported to be around £34m. As the trend goes, his teammates took their social media profiles to thank the German international for his services.

Roma’s 27-year-old midfielder Kevin Strootman posted a photo of himself with Antonio Rudiger, saying, “good luck to my bro @toniruediger at his new club. Im gonna miss our fights in the training sessions and our discussions in the dressingroom . But especially we are gonna miss you on the pitch.”

He then went on to add, “I hope this will be the last goodbye of the summer.”

However, it was deleted later on. Well, we all feel for Strootman given the fact that Francesco Totti just retired and that being followed by the departure of Mario Rui, Leandro Paredes, Wojciech Szczesny, Mohamed Salah and Antonio Rudiger from the club.

His Instagram post has further raised a couple eyebrows thanks to Salah’s comment on it. Radja Nainggolan recently grabbed Manchester United’s attention and reports emerged that the Premier League outfit were vying to acquire his signature (Manchester Evening News). Hence, another departure from Stadio Olimpico can well and truly be expected.

Nainggolan, only a few days back, was featuring live on Instagram stories and a fan asked him about his contract situation, as to whether he will be signing a new contract, to which he replied, “I’m waiting, as always!”

He, however, said completely opposite of it to Strootman’s photo (where he mentioned Rudiger’s departure as the last summer goodbye). He commented, “I don’t know”. And this is where Salah jumped in. Followed by three laughing emoji faces, the 25-year-old winger commented, “The time for Radja now”.

This is what happened:

While this looks like a fun conversation between the three players, maybe Klopp should try and sign the agressive Radja Nainggolan if the player is willing to part ways with Roma. After all, he would add some much needed steel to our midfield, wouldn’t he?
