Liverpool interested in Federico Chiesa

According to Corrieredellosport, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is planning to bring Fiorentina attacker Federico Chiesa to Anfield. The German tactician is believed to be impressed with Chiesa and the Reds have to fork out not less than €50million to sign him at the end of the season.

Chiesa has established himself as one of the most promising young attackers in the Serie A football. He is a winger with high pace and burst of acceleration, equally adept at playing on both flanks. He is nimble-footed and glides past defenders with utmost ease.

The 20-year-old loves to drift infield from the right and bring his teammates into play with quick, crisp passing. Not to forget, Chiesa has a very good shot, both accurate and excellent.

The Corrieredellosport claims that the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have sent their scouts to watch Chiesa play, apart from Liverpool.

Why not? He is one of the most exciting talents in Italian football and last November, he extended his deal with Fiorentina until 2022.

The 20-year-old attacker has 6 goals to his name for Fiorentina this season. He has a terrific work-ethic and an admirable commitment to track back.

The Italian is far from a finished article but would develop his game to a certain extent under the astute guidance of Jurgen Klopp. Considering he is so dynamic and penetrative with the ball, a player like Chiesa can thrive under our German gaffer.

Paying close to €50million for Chiesa would be considered as a bargain in today’s market as the Italian has all the ingredients to become a top attacker in near future. He would surely thrive at Liverpool.
