Celtic are among a number of clubs looking to sign Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson according to the Daily Mail. The Welsh attacker did spend a few months on loan at Hull City in the Championship last season where he scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists in just 13 appearances.

The report claims that the 21-year-old Wilson will sign a new deal to stay at Anfield but will immediately be loaned out.

Celtic want to sign the player before Thursday’s Champions League signing deadline. The Scottish giants aren’t the only ones wanting to sign the player up as rivals Rangers want Wilson while Hull also want to bring the player back to the side.

Wilson certainly had a fruitful spell at Hull last season and sending him out on loan again is a no-brainer given that he will get a lot more playing time than what he’d get at Anfield.

The 21-year-old has a lot of suitors and this speaks volumes about his potential. A move to any of the 3 teams linked with him could turn out to be good.

Rangers have former Liverpool star Steven Gerrard as their new manager while Celtic would be playing in Europe, most probably, and also have ex-manager Brendan Rodgers at the helm.

Hull would feel like home for Wilson as he performed excellently there last season and could score a lot more should he join the Tigers this time around.

It will be interesting to see where Wilson lines up as he seems to have a future at Anfield. And if he keeps on scoring and making headlines next season, we could see him star for us in a year or so.
