Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele could be on the transfer list of the Catalan giants according to Marca (h/t Express).
The French forward might be sold by Barcelona in order for them to balance their books and the 21-year-old is someone that Klopp wants at Liverpool.
Dembele might have lifted the World Cup with France but he played just four games, with two of those appearances coming off the bench.
The former Borussia Dortmund man had a tough time with Barcelona due to injuries as he only made 12 La Liga starts and had five more appearances as a substitute. He did end up scoring 3 goals and assisting 6 more in those games but Barcelona are ready to sell him off.
The report claims that the 21-year-old would cost a bundle given that he joined Barcelona for a mammoth fee which could go up to £135m.
Liverpool have brought in a number of players in the summer and it would be a surprise if we break the bank again and sign the youngster.
Dembele does have a lot of talent and ability. He is still young and so there is scope for him to grow and get better. However, Barcelona would not be looking to sell him on the cheap.
Dembele might find playing time hard to come by at Barcelona since they have signed Malcom from Bordeaux and if he is looking to get minutes under his belt, a loan move to Anfield would not be a bad option.
However, we also have a lot of competition in the attack as our first-choice trio is Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
