Christian Pulisic has refused to speak about a new contract with Borussia Dortmund, according to Bild and Sky Germany (h/t Liverpool Echo).

The 19-year-old American has been linked with a move to Anfield for a while and did take part in the 3-1 win over Liverpool in the International Champions Cup.

Pulisic was the star of the show in that match but it is being reported that he is not willing to sign a new contract at the Bundesliga side and the club is looking to make the most of the player who is valued at around £60m.

There is a concern for Dortmund as Pulisic’s contract ends in 2020 and Chelsea are also interested in the American winger.

It should come as no surprise that a number of clubs are looking to sign the player up and his father had recently claimed that the youngster would love to play in the Premier League.

Pulisic would be an expensive signing but he is rated as one of the brightest players in football at the moment and any amount we spend on him would be a quality investment for the team in the coming years.

There is just one problem regarding our move for him is that we have already done a lot of business in the summer and unless Jurgen Klopp is really interested in him, we might wait until the next window to sign him.

There is no doubt that Pulisic would be a hit wherever he goes and hopefully, he can turn up in the Red of Liverpool in the future.
