Marko Grujic is a wanted man as both Lazio and Cardiff want the Serbian according to ESPN but the midfielder wants to stay at Liverpool for a long time.
The midfielder is with the Liverpool side for the tour of America and spent the second half of last season with Cardiff. His performances were great for the side as they achieved promotion to the Premier League and the Serbian was a part of the World Cup squad too.
However, ESPN quoted the 22-year-old as stating that he has not spoken about his future but that he wants to remain at Anfield for many years.
“I didn’t speak yet with Michael or the gaffer,” he said. “But yes, I want to be a Liverpool player in the next few years.
The youngster also spoke about the quality of players we have brought to the club and how the players are adapting and becoming better every day.
Grujic also spoke about not rushing a loan move and added that they have time to decide as to what is best for all parties involved.
“We will see. We have a lot of time, in August it’s the end of the transfer window. We have time, no rush. We will see what is the best for my development, for the club and for everyone.”
Grujic would probably not get a lot of playing time at Liverpool with all the talent we have in the side but he could be in line for more appearances once he moves to another club on loan.

It does look likely that Grujic will be a Red for a few more years and it is important for Liverpool and the midfielder to select the right club for a loan move.
