Nabil Fekir’s brother Yassin Fekir believes the Lyon man could still remain at the club as he was quoted by the Daily Star as saying:

“I don’t know, he could do.”

Yassin also plays for Lyon and was speaking to the fans during a training session. The Nabil Fekir transfer saga has gone on for too long and with the Premier League transfer window shutting on 9th August, there is very little time to complete a deal.

Fekir was linked with a big money move to Liverpool before the World Cup. However, the deal fell through due to medical issues.

There have been varying reports suggesting that the deal could be back on but Jurgen Klopp recently came out and claimed that he was happy with the players in his team.

Fekir would be our star in the No.10 position if he joins but we could see Xherdan Shaqiri do the same for us. The Swiss star was used in this role during the 4-1 win over Manchester United in pre-season and he even scored a wonderful goal against our rivals.

The French attacker would be an excellent signing considering the quality business we have done in the window but it seems like he will remain a Lyon player this season unless something extraordinary happens.
