Liverpool had a chance of getting a tough Champions League group after being named in Pot 3 for the draw.
The Reds reached the final of the competition last season but their UEFA coefficient wasn’t all that great after missing out on the Champions League regularly in the past five years or so.
Group C could be called the “Group of death” as the Reds were drawn with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, Serie A’s Napoli and Red Star Belgrade.

PSG and Napoli should be the other contenders to make it out of the group but Liverpool must have a lot of confidence going into the competition. The Reds have added quality to their side without losing any star players in the summer and have won all their Premier League games
