Liverpool are one of the teams being linked with Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, should the Englishman leave the side.

Coral (h/t Metro) have made us 4/1 to sign the 20-year-old while Real Madrid have been made 3/1 favourites for the Englishman. Tottenham, Arsenal and West Ham United are also on the list of suitors, as per the report.

The Metro reports that the English forward has struggled to make a mark since Jose Mourinho joined the Red Devils.

The report adds that United have failed to extend the player’s contract and Rashford is stalling over the deal as he wants to understand his role under the United manager.

The Englishman isn’t a starter for the Red Devils and has often been shifted out to the wings, instead of playing down the middle.

The report adds that Rashford’s red card against Burnley in their last fixture hasn’t helped his chances of starting regularly for the Red Devils.

Coral’s John Hill added that although Real lead the race, Liverpool and Tottenham would be keeping a close eye on developments as they have a good record of developing English talent.

Rashford has started just one game for the Red Devils this season. Mourinho only picked him 17 times in the Premier League last season as the Englishman scored seven times in the competition.

It would be difficult to see United sell one of their talents to a Premier League rival but Rashford would be a great option for us out wide or even down the middle.

Rashford is young and is yet to reach his potential, something Jurgen Klopp could use at Liverpool for sure.
