RAC1 (h/t Mirror) claim Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele has been told to find a new club in January. The report adds that the player was left on the bench in their win over Inter Milan, and was dumped because he was 25 minutes late to a team meeting.

The Frenchman joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund for a huge fee but this latest development has put Liverpool on alert, as per the report.

A couple of other Premier League clubs are also alerted by this issue with Arsenal and Chelsea keeping an eye on the 21-year-old.

The Frenchman has three La Liga goals and an assist from 10 league games as Barcelona top the table.

The report adds that Liverpool would be able to provide Dembele’s requirement of Champions League football since the London pair is battling it out in the Europa League.

The 21-year-old would be a quality signing and Jurgen Klopp would know a lot about the former Dortmund player.

He might not receive too many starts ahead of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane but Liverpool have rotated the side well this season.

Klopp has slowly bedded in players such as Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri, and it has paid off with some stellar performances in recent games.
