Loris Karius seems to have denied rumours suggesting the player could be sent back to Liverpool in January.
The German joined the Turkish giants on a two-year loan deal at the start of the season. Reports (h/t Sky Sports) claimed Besiktas wanted to cancel the deal.
The keeper is an avid user of social media and posted a simple but curt reply as his Instagram story.
“Coffee first. Media’s ******** second”.
The keeper became the No.1 at Liverpool last season and took us to the Champions League final. However, Karius made a couple of mistakes against Real Madrid, and we lost 3-1.
The German was effectively replaced as the starting keeper when Alisson was signed from AS Roma in the summer.
The Brazilian has enjoyed his start at Anfield and has conceded just four goals from 10 Premier League games.
Karius needs to start regularly and hopefully, will perform well at Besiktas. The German has just one clean sheet in his last 10 games and conceded four against Genk in the Europa League last week.

It would be a little disheartening if his loan deal is cancelled as the German wouldn’t start many games at Anfield. Hopefully, all this blows over and he grows into a top keeper in the coming months.
