Liverpool were dealt a huge blow in their hopes of qualifying from their Champions League group after a 2-0 loss at Red Star Belgrade.
Jurgen Klopp had changed his side around a lot with starts for Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana and Joel Matip, but we looked poor right from the start.
Milan Pavkov scored from a corner, unchallenged, in the 22nd minute and added a second from a long-range drive in the 29th minute.
Klopp looked frustrated with the side and made a couple of substitutions by bringing on Roberto Firmino and Joe Gomez after half-time.
The changes helped us get a foothold in the game, and we hit the post twice but we did not deserve anything from this game.
We are still second in the group thanks to Napoli and PSG drawing, however, our final group games against these sides won’t be easy.
Many Liverpool supporters were upset with the performance, and they blasted the team for a questionable performance.

Don’t think this is just a player related issue, clearly something wrong with the background staff, primarily Klopp. TERRIBLE subs, no need for Trent to come off at HT, should of been Lallana. Player’s not bothered either. Becoming a common pattern. No transfers in January too?
