Mohamed Salah has something to celebrate as he won the PFA Premier League Player of the Month award for January.

A release from the club added that the Egyptian won the fan poll ahead of Paul Pogba, David de Gea, Marcus Rashford, Leroy Sane and Troy Deeney. This was Salah’s second PFA POTM award in a row as the forward scored three goals for the Reds.

Liverpool remain on top of the Premier League, thanks to Salah’s efforts, and we will need more of the same as we look to win the league for the first time in many years. The Reds aren’t scoring as freely as we did last season, however, we have done well to control games this season.

Liverpool have one of the tightest defences in Europe and that has helped us lead the standings. The Reds will need that kind of steel for the remainder of the campaign as Manchester City are breathing down our necks.

Jurgen Klopp has built a team that seems to be getting stronger with each game under its belt, and it will be a crazy ride until the end of the season.

Salah’s goals will be important in the chase for the title, and hopefully, there will be something to celebrate at Anfield in a few months.
