Liverpool FC transfer news: Mohamed Salah falls out with Jurgen Klopp?

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has fallen out with manager Jurgen Klopp and has asked our club to transfer list him in the summer, reports Spanish news outlet AS.

The Egyptian, 26, has been hugely influential for the Reds again this season, bagging 22 goals and 10 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions. Although he has failed to hit the heights of last season, the forward has delivered in crucial moments, most recently in the 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah broke his eight-game drought at Anfield by scoring a spectacular long-range curler against his former side Chelsea to hand our club a vital victory. However, AS report all is not rosy between the 26-year-old and Klopp and that the former has threatened to hand in a transfer request.

And most bizarrely, the Spanish outlet claim Liverpool have agreed to sell Salah at the end of the season which could alert Real Madrid to rekindle their interest in the winger.

Salah to leave Liverpool?

It’s difficult for me to believe in such a rumour considering how crucial Salah has been for Liverpool since joining from AS Roma in 2017. The Egyptian is one of the first names on Klopp’s team sheet and remains as important as he was last season to our team.

We are in the running for a Premier League and Champions League double, so our players just cannot lose focus at such a crucial juncture of the season. All in all, I find this piece of rumour futile given what’s at stake for us in the coming weeks.

Thus, I don’t see Salah leaving Anfield in any case at the end of the season.
