Liverpool showcase training kits with new shirt sponsors as they plan huge deal

Latest Liverpool news: Club shares new kit with AXA sponsorship

Liverpool have unveiled a new set of training kits with AXA as the shirt sponsor, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The French company became the club’s first global insurance partner in 2018 October when Liverpool struck a deal with them.

The report adds that the insurance company will have their logo on a range of training gear which includes tops, jackets, tracksuit bottoms, sleeveless hoodies and polo shirts.

Liverpool looking for a massive new kit deal

Liverpool’s kit deal with New Balance expires at the end of the next season, and the Liverpool Echo adds that the Reds are open to extending their deal with the American giants.

However, Liverpool want to increase their earnings from the kit deal and want closer to the £75m that Manchester United earn from Adidas per year, according to the report.

The Reds currently make around £45m a year from New Balance, and the report adds that options are being explored by the Premier League giants.

New Balance has created some of the best Liverpool jerseys in recent years and our third kits certainly have been different compared to the normal fare clubs get from Nike, Adidas or Puma.

The report adds that the 2017/18 kit was the best selling Liverpool strip of all time.
