Latest Liverpool news: Reds to offer Jurgen Klopp new five-year deal

Calciomercato carries the report which claims that Klopp loves Italian football but Juve never went beyond an approach for the German manager.

The report claims that Klopp will be offered a new five-year deal with the Reds and a salary of at least €10m per season with additional bonuses.

The season has been incredible for the Reds. We have a Champions League final to prepare for and have an outside chance of lifting the Premier League crown.

Klopp is happy at Liverpool

The report claims that the former Borussia Dortmund manager wants to continue with the Reds and is looking towards a fantastic finale this season.

The German is also “enthusiastic about the Liverpool project”, according to the report, and is expected to sign the new deal in a couple of weeks.

Liverpool have grown from strength to strength under the German, and hopefully, we can close out the season on a high.

The miracle at Anfield on Tuesday saw us defeat Barcelona 4-0 and now face Tottenham for the Champions League title.

The Reds are one of the best teams in the world and this has been a work in progress since Klopp took over from Brendan Rodgers.
