Latest Liverpool news: Liverpool are worth over £1bn in latest brand findings

Brand Finance’s (h/t Liverpool Echo) latest report claims that Liverpool are worth £1.02bn, which puts them in sixth place on the charts.

The report adds that the Reds have kept their place in the charts after seeing their value increase by 20%.

The Reds missed out on the Premier League title by one point and are in the Champions League final.

Liverpool are ahead of Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal while their Champions League finalists, Tottenham, are 10th in the standings.

Real Madrid lead the way

Real Madrid usurped Manchester United to the top of the table with a valuation of £1.65bn while the Red Devils saw their valuation drop to £1.47bn, according to Brand Finance.

The next three clubs kept their position from last year, with Barcelona coming third, Bayern Munich in fourth and Manchester City just above the Reds in this table too.

The Cityzens are valued at £1.26bn, according to Brand Finance, and the Reds have some catching up to do if they are to lead this table.

FSG have done a brilliant job in backing Jurgen Klopp and the German has created a fantastic team with some smart buys.
