Liverpool FC transfer news: Ryan Kent wants a return to Rangers
The Daily Record claims that the English winger is Gerrard’s priority signing in the summer, and the legend knows he has to wait for Kent to possibly join.
Kent was named as the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year during his season with the Gers, and the 22-year-old wants a return to Ibrox.
The 22-year-old spoke in May and claimed he wants to win trophies at the Scottish giants (h/t Daily Record):
“I came up here to win trophies and that’s a department we’ve failed in this season.
“So it would be nice to come back and win silverware but I don’t have anything more to say on that at the moment.
“The size of the club brings out the best in me. I didn’t realise how huge it was until I came here.”
Klopp wants to see Kent in action
The report adds that it is to be seen if Rangers can nab Kent on another loan deal, however, Jurgen Klopp has a different plan for the Englishman.
Kent is one of the several players who are back ahead of our pre-season games, and the report claims that Klopp wants a close look at the 22-year-old.
The English winger should play in some of our upcoming games, and it will be interesting to see if he can impress the manager.

Harry Wilson is another player who had a great campaign last season, and the Welshman also seems set for an important pre-season under Klopp.
