Latest Liverpool transfer news: Reds interested in Tom Heaton
The Daily Mail (h/t Liverpool Echo) reports that Liverpool are interested in Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

The report adds that Aston Villa are also interested in the England keeper, with Burnley having Nick Pope and Joe Hart too on their books.
The England keeper would be a decent back-up for Alisson, and it will be interesting to see how things go with Simon Mignolet in the summer.
Jurgen Klopp has claimed that he wants to keep the Belgian, however, the player’s agents recently told that they are trying to seal a move away in hopes of getting regular football (h/t Liverpool Echo).

The Belgian is one of the most professional players in the Liverpool team and it makes sense to keep hold of him.
However, he won’t get too many games for us next season unless there is a problem for Alisson.
The Brazilian was excellent last season, winning two Golden Gloves and putting up a ‘Man of the Match’ performance in the Champions League final.
