Klopp dismisses Rubie’s accusations – claims club cares about the Liverpool youngster

Latest Liverpool news: Klopp dismisses claims levelled by Duncan’s agent

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had his say regarding the controversy surrounding Bobby Duncan.

The striker’s agent, Saif Rubie, claimed that the player had been mistreated by the club, after a move was rejected by Liverpool.

The Reds responded with a statement claiming that all the allegations were unfounded, and Klopp spoke about the issue during a press conference.

The German has always provided chances to youngster during his spell at the club and was careful regarding his comments on Duncan’s situation (h/t Liverpool Echo):

“The situation is really difficult because to speak about it as a not-native speaker it is really important each word of this is the right one.

“What I can say is Bobby is one of our young players we really, really care about. Really, really care.

“Not only young players but all players in football sometimes contract things can not be a massive problem because there are bigger problems in life but can be a problem because it is whether to extend or not extend.”

The manager continued by saying that contract issues are the same for all age groups but the Reds are “sensitive” when it comes to young players.

Klopp claimed that all the parties need to do the right thing and the issue should be resolved.

Duncan needs to stay calm about the situation

The English striker is one of the most talented youngsters at the lub and his time will come.

Duncan should be allowed to leave on loan when the club thinks it is right for his development but for now, he just has to work hard.
