Real Madrid willing to bid €210m for Mohamed Salah next season

Don Balon (h/t Liverpool Echo) claims that Real Madrid are willing to bid €210m for Mohamed Salah next season, should the Egyptian want to leave the Reds.

The forward has been in electric form since signing from AS Roma and is one of the best in the world.

The 27-year-old helped us win the Champions League last season, but the report claims that he only remained at Liverpool due to the fact we landed silverware.

Virgil van Dijk was linked with a move to the Spanish giants earlier in the week, and it is claimed (h/t Liverpool Echo) that the Egyptian could force a move away if we fail to land the Champions League or Premier League.

Salah recently only signed a new deal with the Reds and the Liverpool Echo adds that the contract does not feature a release clause.

It would need a crazy amount for Liverpool to part with Salah

Madrid are known to be big spenders in the transfer window but it doesn’t make sense for Liverpool sell one of the best in the world at the moment.

Salah has started this season extremely well and we seem set to land more trophies at the club under Jurgen Klopp.

Madrid have been a mess for a few years now and Zinedine Zidane took over the job once again after leaving last season.

If Salah does want to leave, and that is a big if, we should look for a huge sum which easily trumps Neymar’s move to PSG.
