Borussia Dortmund open to selling Jadon Sancho in the future

Jadon Sancho has been the breakout star in the Bundesliga over the past two seasons.

The former Manchester City winger joined the Bundesliga giants as a 17-year-old and is now a first-team star at the club.

The England youngster has also broken into the national team and is one of the most exciting talents in the world.

Jadon Sancho

Jurgen Klopp had tracked the youngster during his Manchester City days and didn’t think he could sign him from another Premier League club (h/t Liverpool Echo):

“We are not blind – we saw him, we liked him and then we think ‘can we get him?’ No because English clubs don’t sell them to other English clubs.”

However, Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has hinted that Sancho could be sold in the future.

The German was speaking to Kicker and admitted that the 19-year-old could leave (h/t Liverpool Echo):

“You don’t have to be a prophet to know he won’t play here for another five years.”

Liverpool could do such a talent in the future

Dortmund might not sell the Englishman now, but he could turn out to become one of the best in the world soon.

Liverpool could do with more attacking options, especially in a few years when Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah enter their 30s, and Sancho would be an incredible signing.
