Liverpool could renew interested in Lorenzo Insigne after Napoli developments

Trouble is brewing at Napoli as several players could be sold by Aurelio De Laurentiis, according to the Daily Mail (h/t Liverpool Echo).

Napoli’s stars refused to join a training camp organised by the president after their draw with RB Salzburg in the Champions League (h/t Liverpool Echo).

As a result, De Laurentiis could cut his losses in January and sell several players (h/t Liverpool Echo).

Lorenzo Insigne is now being linked with Liverpool, and the report adds that the Reds would be interested if he becomes available.

The 28-year-old hasn’t been in great scoring form with just four goals and five assists this season.

Napoli are also winless in their last five games and lie 13 points behind Serie A leaders Juventus.

The Italian normally operates on the left wing but can play as a central attacking midfielder too.

Liverpool to add another forward in January?

The Reds have one of the best attacks in the Premier League. Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane sharing the Golden Boot last season while Roberto Firmino does a lot of hard work too.

Salah won the Boot in his debut season with the Reds, but there are some injury concerns at the moment.

The Egyptian will not feature during the international break and it will be interesting to see when he returns.
