Tough times ahead for Klopp as date confirmed for Liverpool’s rescheduled tie with West Ham

Liverpool could play 3 games in 7 days if they beat Everton in the FA cup

The match was originally scheduled for 21st December but had to be rescheduled to accommodate Liverpool’s participation in the Club World Cup and the Carabao Cup. (h/t Sky Sports)

Sandwiched between the FA Cup fourth-round tie and the match against Southampton at Anfield, Liverpool will be forced to play 3 games in a week. Provided we defeat Everton in the FA Cup tie on 5 January.

It will be a crucial month for the reds as we face Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Wolves in succession as the title race gathers pace.
