Jude Bellingham admires Klopp and Liverpool, recent form doesn’t bother the 19-year-old
In a major win off the field for Liverpool, primary transfer target Jude Bellingham apparently fancies a move to the Reds. The Athletic‘s David Ornstein wrote about how the 19-year-old has been on our radar for the longest time now and it is Liverpool’s deal to lose.
There were a lot of questions raised on whether Bellingham would still want to move to Liverpool given the tough run of form for the Reds in the domestic circuit. Moreover, a 2-5 defeat at the hands of Real Madrid at home doesn’t make things easier for Jurgen Klopp as well.
Ornstein covered that Bellingham remains unaffected by this and could still move to the Reds given his admiration for both, the club and the manager. However, the financial implications need lots of thought as his pursuit certainly won’t come cheap for the Reds.
Klopp is apparently ready to spend big on Bellingham, rather than buying two or three central midfielders. One thing is for certain, there is an urgency for midfielders at Liverpool and in case the summer of 2023 doesn’t bring in plenty, or only Bellingham for that matter, the going can get tough for the Reds.
Jude to the Reds?
