Former Liverpool manager John Aldridge has criticized Roberto Firminho’s performances in Liverpool Echo. The former Liverpool manager is of the view that Firminho has been nothing less than a disappointment to the club since Rodgers got him in the summers.

According to Aldridge Firminho has been redundant in his performances both mentally as well as physically. Firminho whose performances had seemed like they were improving under Klopp after the match with Manchester United, his display in the match against Newcastle deflated the audience.

“Roberto Firmino is playing as if something is wrong, mentally and physically. He’s been absolutely redundant the last two games,” Aldridge said

According to Aldridge, Klopp has yet to learn a lot in Liverpool as many had expected him to change the club overnight and dramatically, they will surely get disappointed.

The Brazilian who plays as a forward, winger and attacking midfielder, has not made the club proud of having him. His displays are disappointing the Club as well as the audiences. Firminho could have taken the advantage and had a chance to win the game, but he left it and didn’t even go ahead with the challenge. This has disappointed Aldridge as well as Liverpool fans.
