An early kickoff at Hertfordshire will see Watford hosting Liverpool in what looks to be an entertaining match for the neutrals. The home side have 25 points on board after their promotion from the Championship and are at 7th in the table after the first 16 games. Liverpool are winless in their last three games in all competitions and three points against Sánchez Flores’ men will propel the Reds ahead of them in the table.
On contrast the promoted side have been on a good run recently, winning their last three matches and will be raring to go against the Reds.
The big news tonight is the change in personnel between the sticks for Liverpool. Klopp has decided to go with Adam Bogdan ahead of the error prone Simon Mignolet, thanks to the Hingarian’s impressive performances for the reserve side.
Lovren’s nasty injury means that Sakho is back in the starting lineup. The midfield for Liverpool looks strong with Can, Lucas and Henderson playing in a compact 4-3-3 formation, which will effectively shift to 4-1-2-3.
