3. Yann M’Vila Vs. Emre Can
M’Vila is Sunderland’s most important midfielder. The Frenchman is Sunderland’s leading playmaker and he is the Black Cats player with most assists. His is a set piece threat and his passes could create goals. M’Vila can very much influence Sunderland’s attack and it is the duty of the Liverpool centre midfielders to restrict his influence. And we expect Emre Can to be the man for the job. Emre Can has been doing his defensive responsibilities amazingly recently and his defensive contributions has made it easy for Jordan Henderson to go forward and help out Liverpool’s attack. Emre Can should prevent M’Vila from giving that dangerous passes to the Sunderland strikers and if M’Vila become helpless, the Sunderland attackers will find it difficult to find the back of the net.
