Leroy Sane has informed his club Schalke that he wants a move to Liverpool, as reported by Bild. The 20 year old has caught the eyes of some European heavyweights and is also reported to be a point of interest from Manchester City and Barcelona.
The German club Schalke has told earlier that the midfielder is not for sale. However, considering the level of interest he has generated from the bigger clubs and the player’s willingness to leave, Schalke may have little or no say in the matter.
In spite of interest from other clubs, Liverpool are said to be closest to sign the youngster and Sane is said to be interested in Liverpool as well. Liverpool has a history of giving young players a chance and providing the platform for youngsters to make it big in the world football stage. The former European champions do not currently need a new midfielder but given Leroy Sane’s talent, he would be one for the future.
