Steven Caulker has completed his loan transfer to Liverpool. The defender has moved from Queen’s Park Rangers to Liverpool on loan deal and is now eligible to face Arsenal.
Caulker was earlier on loan at Southampton and spent the first half of the season there. However, he has completed his paperwork and now signed the next six months with the Anfield outfit. The player is on his way to Anfield to attend the final training session and is expected to be included in the list that will feature against Arsenal. He is expected to be a back up to Kolo Toure and Mamadou Sakho. If one of these player fails to prove his fitness, Caulker could be starting the game as well.
Caulker had failed to impress at Southampton and in his last game they lost to Liverpool by 6-1 goal margin in the Capital One Cup. It is ironic that Liverpool has brought Caulker to their team after such an incident.
