Saido Berahino has been a very influential player for West Brom and has been in the eyes of Tottenham for some time. Last summer Tottenham tried to sign the striker but failed. It was reported that the London based club is still in the Baggies forward list to buy, but now news has popped up that Daniel Levy, the hotshot at Tottenham has ruled out a moved for the player.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has run out of patience with injury prone Daniel Sturridge and is lining up West Brom forward Saido Berahino as a replacement, although he may have a job on his hands persuading the striker to move to Merseyside – reports TheWeek.

Now with Tottenham out of the picture, Liverpool are said to be in pole position to sign Berahino. But there is a catch. Liverpool don’t want to keep Sturridge and Berahino both in the team. In order for the transfer to take place, Liverpool are looking to offload Daniel Sturridge.

The player, though promising, has been afflicted with recurring injury problem and Liverpool are said to be running out of patience. The club is quoting a price of £25m for Sturridge and the same price is labeled on Berahino by West Brom. So its practically a one to one substitution in the squad.
