3 Things Klopp Must Do To Beat The Red Devils

Manchester United at Anfield will be a big game for Jurgen Klopp. It will his biggest game with Liverpool so far. The German compared the rivalry between the two England clubs to the rivalry between Borussia Dortmund and Schalke at Germany. Klopp has experience dealing with such rivalries and his experience will be a key factor on Sunday. Both teams will be looking for a clean win over their rivals. Here are three things Jurgen Klopp should do to win against Manchester United:

1. Start Caulker ahead of Toure:

Kolo Toure has been in fine form for Liverpool recently but it might not be a good idea to play him against Manchester United. The Ivory Coast international is 34 years old and he might not be able to handle back to back big games. Toure played the full ninety minutes for Liverpool on Wednesday against Arsenal. Three days later Liverpool have to face another big test when they face the Red Devils. Toure’s body might not let him play consistently, so it would be better to give Steven Caulker the start ahead of Toure. Caulker came on as a late substitute against Arsenal on Wednesday. Though he was only on the pitch for very few minutes, he looked impressive. Caulker’s aerial abilities will let Liverpool restrict Marouane Fellaini. Caulker is also a goal threat from set pieces. Set pieces is one thing Liverpool have not been able to utilize.
