Gary Cahill has recently been in news with reports that the player wants a move away from Stamford Bridge. The player has fallen down the pecking order of defenders preferred by Guss Hiddink. The new manager has hardly given any starting opportunity to the England international and he is said to be seriously unsettled.

With Euro 2016 coming up Cahill is desperate for regular game time and considering moving away from Chelsea in order to achieve that. Though he was made the vice-captain in 2014, he is concerned that with the form Chris Smalling and John Terry currently showing, it will be difficult and almost impossible to make the squad if he does not feature for his teams regularly.
Though a few clubs have shown interest in the player, it is revealed that Cahill may well very likely be heading to Liverpool. Given Liverpool’s reputation in signing English players, we are not very surprised.
